The first international gathering of young Afghan Turkmen was held in Cappadocia, Turkey, with the participation of dozens of students, women and girls, professionals, and members of the Turkmen academic and civil society communities.
The event was held on August 28 and 29 to discuss structured, scientific, and practical approaches for the future of Afghanistan’s Turkmen community through 2050.
During the gathering, speakers from the new generation of Afghan Turkmen emphasized the need to launch scientific and civic programs both inside and outside the country.
Participants also discussed and exchanged views on the role of education and the participation of young people in shaping the future of Afghanistan’s Turkmen community.
