Der Spiegel reported that 25 Afghan migrants accused of committing criminal offenses were transferred from Germany to Kabul on a charter flight.
The magazine said that these individuals are scheduled to arrive at Kabul International Airport on Tuesday, April 28.
The report states that German police are accompanying these individuals and will return after handing them over to the Taliban authorities.
It is reported that most of the deported individuals were transferred directly from prison to the airport.
The report states: “They had been imprisoned in several German states on various charges, including theft, trafficking in stolen goods, drug trafficking, gang rape, involuntary manslaughter, hostage-taking, kidnapping for extortion, and politically motivated crimes.”
According to the report, these individuals were returned to Afghanistan as part of an agreement between the German government and the Taliban.
In February as well, 20 “criminal” migrants were deported to Afghanistan.
