Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Iran’s parliament speaker and top negotiator, said he has received multiple messages from neighboring countries regarding new security arrangements in the region.
Ghalibaf wrote on X on Saturday, August 22, that the messages concerned not only security issues but also economic cooperation.
He accused the United States of putting the security of its allies in the region at risk for the sake of Israel through “bullying and sheer disregard.”
According to Ghalibaf, an independent regional order is what can ensure peace and security.
Meanwhile, during the war between Israel, the United States and Iran, Arab countries along the southern coast of the Persian Gulf have been targeted by Iranian ballistic missiles and drones.
However, tensions between the United States and Iran over control of the Strait of Hormuz continue, with both sides claiming full control of the waterway.
