Human Rights Watch has expressed concern over Pakistan’s bombing of a drug rehabilitation center in Kabul.
The organization said in a statement on Tuesday, March 17, that the heavy casualties from this attack are alarming and called on the Taliban to promptly investigate the incident.
Human Rights Watch has emphasized that civilian infrastructure must not be targeted.
Last night, Pakistan carried out airstrikes on Kabul, and the Taliban say that a drug rehabilitation center was targeted.
According to the Taliban, around 400 people were killed, and 250 others were injured in the attack.
Pakistan has denied attacking civilian infrastructure and claimed that it targeted Taliban military facilities.
