Iranian media have published the country’s 10-point plan for the upcoming negotiations in Islamabad, which includes compensation for damages.
Iran’s Shargh newspaper reported on Wednesday, April 8, that these conditions include non-aggression, the continuation of Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz, acceptance of enrichment, the lifting of all primary and secondary sanctions, the termination of all UN Security Council and Board of Governors resolutions, compensation for Iran, the withdrawal of US combat forces from the region, and an end to the war on all fronts.
Some media outlets, including the Associated Press, have reported that the enrichment condition was not included in the English version of the plan.
The US and Iranian delegations will meet in Islamabad on Friday to negotiate a resolution to their differences.
It is said that the US delegation, led by J. D. Vance, the vice president to Donald Trump, will travel to Islamabad, but the head of the Iranian delegation has not yet been identified.
This comes as the two sides have agreed to a two-week ceasefire mediated by Pakistan.
