Fox News

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned ships against turning off their navigation systems while passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

Tasnim reported on Sunday night, October 11, that the IRGC would take decisive action against ships that switch off their navigation systems.

According to the report, the warning applies to vessels operating in the Strait of Hormuz.

The IRGC emphasized that ships that turn off their navigation systems would be identified as “hostile.”

This comes as the IRGC has increased attacks on ships passing through the southern route of the Strait of Hormuz in recent days.

Iran considers the southern route of the strait illegal and insists that ships use the northern route, which is under its control.
