The Israeli army has warned residents of 12 towns and villages in southern Lebanon to leave their homes.
Al Jazeera reported on Tuesday, May 19, that the Israeli army issued the warning due to the possibility of strikes on the “infrastructure” of Hezbollah.
During the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, residents of areas in southern Lebanon and the capital, Beirut, have repeatedly received evacuation warnings from the Israeli army to leave their areas.
Following the war between Israel and the United States and Iran, Hezbollah entered the conflict with Israel in support of Tehran.
However, last week the United States Department of State announced that delegations from Israel and Lebanon had agreed to extend a 45-day ceasefire.
Negotiations between Lebanon and Israel, however, have not been able to stop the attacks by both sides.
