The Israeli army has bombed areas in southern Lebanon that have been sites of clashes with Hezbollah for months.
Al Jazeera reported on Sunday, September 6, that the Israeli airstrikes targeted areas that the Israeli army had previously threatened to attack.
According to the report, a building in Arab Salim was bombed after the Israeli army had announced that it would target the site.
The Israeli airstrikes also targeted the towns of Nabatieh Fawqa and the outskirts of Kfar Rumman in southern Lebanon.
No figures have so far been released on the human casualties or financial damage caused by the Israeli airstrikes.
This comes as Lebanon and Israel have, in recent months, held talks mediated by the United States to end the war and have reached several agreements.
