The Jordanian army has announced that since the beginning of the conflict, around 300 missiles and drones have been launched by Iran toward its territory.
Mustafa Al-Hiyari, spokesperson for the Jordanian Armed Forces, said on Saturday, April 4, that 281 missiles and drones had targeted Jordan, of which 261 were intercepted and destroyed by the country’s air defense systems.
According to Jordanian officials, Iran and some regional groups are “directly and without justification” targeting the country’s territory.
Jordan has stressed that since the beginning of the war, it has not allowed its airspace to be used for attacks against any country.
Officials in the country have also reported that 29 people have been injured as a result of these attacks, with damage caused to homes, vehicles, and public property.
