Iran targeted a US military base in Jordan early Wednesday in response to recent US attacks.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Air Force released footage of the attack on Wednesday, September 9, and said Iranian missiles had passed through Jordanian air defenses.

The attack came after US forces destroyed five Iranian oil tankers.

The United States said the strikes were carried out in response to Iran targeting a US Navy warship.

The IRGC said Iran’s “decisive response” would continue, as tensions between Tehran and Washington over regional developments and the Strait of Hormuz continue to escalate.
