Sources in Kabul say that a young man from Panjshir was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the province.
Sources told the Hasht-e Subh Daily on Sunday, September 13, that the young man, named Fakhr Alam, was killed the previous evening in the “Guard Area,” in District 15 of Kabul city, in front of his home.
The sources added that the young man was originally from the village of “Umraz” in Hesa-e Awal District of Panjshir and lived in Kabul city.
The reason and motive behind the incident remain unclear, and the Taliban have not yet commented on the incident.
This comes as, over the past five years, several citizens of the country, including residents of Panjshir, have been killed in various parts of Kabul city. According to sources, Taliban fighters were involved in most of the incidents.
