Kabul – The General Directorate of Passports has announced that the process of distributing passports in Helmand and Sar-e-Pul provinces will start today Tuesday, December 14.

Inamullah Samangani, a Taliban spokesman confirmed the news, quoting the General Directorate of Passports.

However, he did not say how many passports will be distributed daily in the two provinces.

Meanwhile, the Taliban had already begun distributing passports in other provinces, saying that the applicants must apply for passports from their provinces.

However, Passport distribution has not yet begun in Kabul.

On the other hand, the head of the Passport General Directorate has recently said that the technical problems in the department have not been resolved yet and that the department is facing a shortage of equipment.
