Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, has stated that the 12-day war waged by the United States and Israel against Iran demonstrated that the people of that country, despite their differing views, stand united in times of crisis and in defense of Iran.
On Saturday, June 13, Pezeshkian wrote on X that the 12-day war once again proved that beyond any preference or viewpoint, when it comes to Iran, “we are one nation, one clenched fist, and one beating heart.”
Pezeshkian’s remarks coincide with the first anniversary of the beginning of the Israeli and American attacks against Iran, a conflict also referred to as the 12-day war.
Meanwhile, tensions between Iran and the United States continue, and the two sides have yet to reach a final peace agreement.
In addition to the 12-day war, the joint American-Israeli attacks that began against Iran on February 28 have further inflamed regional tensions and contributed to growing instability across countries in the region.
