8 Subh, Parwan: Security officials in Kapisa province say, a principal in the second district of the province has been assassinated by unidentified gunmen.
Shayiq Shorish, Kapisa Police Spokesperson, told 8 Subh that Mawlawi Hazratuddin, the principal of Kalota Girls School in the second part of Kohistan district, was killed at 11:20 a.m. just before noon on Sunday on July 11.
This school principal, who was also a religious scholar, was shot dead by gunmen on his way home from work. The gunmen fled the scene afterwards.
Mr. Shorish stressed that police were working to arrest the perpetrators.
