Sources in Khost province say several drones have been patrolling the skies over the provincial capital and districts for the past several days.
Sources told the Hasht-e Subh Daily on Monday, September 28, that the drones also flew continuously over Khost during the day and night on Sunday.
According to the sources, the drones are still patrolling the area.
The sources added that the drones fly at high altitudes during the day and at lower altitudes at night. In some cases, Taliban members have fired at them.
According to the sources, the drones’ continuous presence has caused concern and fear among residents in Khost.
The sources provided no further details about the identity of the drones or the reason for their patrols.
