The Taliban Ministry of Defense(MoD) has confirmed that 28 of its fighters were killed in military tensions with Pakistan.
Inayatullah Khwarazmi, spokesperson for the Taliban MoD, said in a press conference on Tuesday, March 3, that nearly 40 fighters had been injured.
He also claimed that since the start of the clashes, over 130 Pakistani soldiers have been killed and about 200 others injured.
Khwarizmi added that around 40 Pakistani military posts have fallen into Taliban control.
Meanwhile, Pakistan claims that about 430 Taliban fighters have been killed during the clashes.
The military conflict between the Taliban and Pakistan has now entered its sixth day and continues.
However, Pakistan has bombed Taliban positions in Kabul for three consecutive mornings, with explosions and gunfire reported.
At the same time, the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has reported that 42 civilians have been killed.
