Kabul – Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) announced that the destroyed electricity base in Murad Beg fortress in the north of Kabul has been repaired.

The base was cut due to the explosion on Thursday, (October 21).

The Islamic State in Khorasan Province (IS-KP) has claimed the responsibility for the explosion, and by the explosion of this power base, the city of Kabul and the provinces of the imported electricity route were plunged into darkness.

Breshna Sherkat reported that a socket was connected to the base on Saturday evening, (October 23).

On Sunday, October 24, the company announced that the electricity base was completely restored.

By the restoration of the base, Uzbekistan’s imported electricity is connected to the electricity grid of Kabul and the provinces, according to the Breshna Sherkat.

The Taliban security forces have started a serious effort to identify and punish the perpetrators of the destruction of power bases, Breshna said.

Three people have been arrested in connection with the case.
