Donald Trump, the US president, has avoided using the term “war” to describe the months-long US military operation in Iran.
Fox News reported on Friday, September 4, that he described the situation as a “military conflict” and said some people do not consider it a war.
Trump emphasized that, in his view, the conflict is not a major issue for the US and described it as relatively small and insignificant.
The remarks come as US Vice President JD Vance had also previously avoided using the term “war” to describe the operation.
