U.S. President Donald Trump has praised Israel as a “great” ally of the United States.
Trump said on Saturday night, April 18, in a post on Truth Social that Israel, whether people like it or not, has proven to be a very strong ally of the United States.
Trump added: “They are brave, bold, loyal, and smart, and unlike others who show their true face in moments of crisis and pressure, Israel fights hard and knows how to win.”
These remarks come a day after he told Israel that bombing Lebanon was “prohibited” and stressed that “enough is enough.”
However, fresh attacks were also carried out in the region on Saturday.
