Two people were killed and four others injured in a traffic accident in Faryab province.
The Taliban’s police command in Faryab said in a statement on Wednesday, September 23, that the accident occurred in the Qaflan Dara area of Pashtun Kot district.
According to the statement, the accident occurred after a vehicle veered off the road and overturned.
The Taliban also said the injured were taken to a hospital.
The incident comes as traffic accidents have increased across Afghanistan, with several people killed or injured every day.
In similar incidents, eight people were killed in Takhar province, while one person was killed and nine others injured in a traffic accident in Laghman province.
