Kabul – Local sources in the Yakawlang district of Bamiyan have said that unknown gunmen have killed a person and injured three others on the highway of Ghor-Kabul.

The sources told Hasht-e Subh that unidentified gunmen muggers attacked a car and plundered the luggage of passengers in the Kotal-e-Bacac area of Bamiyan Yakawlang district on the Ghor-Kabul highway in the evening (Sunday, November 7).

The driver of the car has been killed while escaping and three passengers have been severely wounded, according to relatives of passengers.

The residents of the Yakawlang district have said that the wounded victims have been taken to the hospital.

Earlier, the Taliban caretaker government had given assurance to the people to secure the highways; however, unknown gunmen muggers sometimes kill the passengers and plunder their luggage on the highways.
