The death toll from Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip has risen to 18, marking one of the deadliest periods in recent weeks.
Reuters, early Monday, August 3, reported that the Israeli airstrikes targeted northern, central, and southern areas of the Gaza Strip.
According to the report, the strikes hit residential homes and displacement tents, with women and children among the victims.
Earlier, media reports said that at least 14 Palestinians had been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Gaza health officials say that at least 1,230 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire in October.
International organizations and humanitarian agencies have repeatedly warned about the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza, calling for the protection of civilians and immediate access for humanitarian aid.
