Local authorities in China have reported that an explosion in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the southwest of the country has left seven people dead and 17 others injured.
According to a report by Reuters published early Thursday, June 11, those injured in the blast were transferred to hospitals for treatment.
The report added that none of the injured are in critical condition.
Local officials said an investigation into the cause of the explosion is ongoing.
