Following the continuation of Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, the death toll of Palestinians has risen to 14.
Al Jazeera reported on Sunday, August 2, that in the latest attacks, two Palestinians, including a child, were killed in an Israeli drone strike on a tent sheltering displaced people in the Al-Rimal neighbourhood in western Gaza City.
The attack comes as Israel’s military operations in the Gaza Strip continue, while the humanitarian situation in the area has been reported as critical due to widespread displacement and shortages of essential needs.
The conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip began in October 2023 and has continued until now.
The war has left heavy human casualties and widespread destruction in Gaza, forcing millions of people to face crises of displacement, shortages of food, medicine, and essential services.
International organisations and humanitarian agencies have repeatedly warned about the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza and called for the protection of civilians and immediate access to humanitarian aid.
