According to local sources in Helmand, as a result of flooding in the province, 10 nomads have lost their lives.

On Saturday, a reliable local source, who did not want to be named, told that these floods occurred overnight in the villages of Tazani and Khashrod in the Nawzad district of Helmand province.

Based on the information provided by the source, families living near the Khashrod River in Helmand have suffered the most damage.

The source warns that if assistance is not provided to the affected people as soon as possible, a disaster will happen.

It is reported that in addition to human casualties, more than 200 livestock have also been lost as a result of these floods.

However, Taliban in Helmand have denied this news and claimed that no such event has taken place in the Nawzad district.

It should be noted that Tazani area in Nawzad district of Helmand is considered one of the remote areas of this district.
