Iran’s army is set to provide basic military training to a number of volunteer civilians.
Iran’s West Asia News Agency reported that the programme, called “Jan-Fada,” will begin on Sunday, October 4, at three centers in Tehran.
Mohammad Reza Alian-Nejad, deputy commander for training and education in Iran’s army, said personnel from four branches of the country’s military would be responsible for training the volunteers.
According to him, the volunteers will first receive basic military training and then proceed to more advanced courses.
