Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has said that significant progress has been made in talks between Iran and the United States, with mediation from Qatar and Pakistan.
In a post on X on Monday, June 22, Araghchi described the reduction of tensions in Lebanon as the “first real test” of the negotiations.
He also referred to possible exemptions on oil and petrochemical exports, the lifting of a maritime blockade, and the release of some frozen Iranian assets.
According to reports, Iranian and US delegations participated in the first day of technical talks in Switzerland on Sunday, with mediation from Pakistan and Qatar.
