Jamiat-e-Islami Party accuses the Taliban of killing prisoners and humiliating civilians while condemning the battles in Badakhshan.
In a statement on Sunday (October 23rd), this party accused the Taliban of having a monopolistic view of power, killing prisoners and humiliating citizens.
“The people of Afghanistan may pay for the brutality of the Taliban in the country’s political arena and the oppression of this group for a while, but this bloodshed and crime will definitely end,” the declaration states.
According to Jamiat-e-Islami, people and commanders in Badakhshan have resorted to armed struggle in order to get rid of oppression and defend their dignity.
This party condemned the killing of prisoners and anti-Taliban commanders and called the battle of the NRF in Badakhshan as a struggle for justice.
Following the recent battles in four districts of Badakhshan, there have been many casualties on both sides of the war. An estimated 21 Taliban fighters, as well as 2 commanders of the National Resistance Front (NRF) along with 10 other members were reportedly killed.
