Sources in Jalalabad say that the body of a person who was shot dead was found in Charbagh district of Nangarhar.
The sources told The Hasht-e Subh Daily on Thursday, August 20, that the person was shot in the forehead with a handgun.
According to the sources, the body was dumped by the roadside in the Charbagh area of Nangarhar after the person was killed.
The sources said the identity of the victim, who was killed at around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, remains unknown.
However, it is still unclear who killed the person or what the motive behind the killing was.
This comes despite the Taliban’s claims of ensuring security, as reports of mysterious killings have increased significantly in various parts of the country.
