Kabul – One person was killed and seven others were injured due to a traffic accident in Pato district of Daikundi, local officials in the province confirm.
According to the sources, the vehicle was traveling from Nili city to Qakhoor, the capital of Pato district, on Wednesday afternoon, February 23.
As reported by the sources, the driver of the car died in the accident and seven passengers, including three women, were injured, and they were taken to Daikundi Provincial Hospital.
However, some local media outlets have reported more casualties.
According to health officials, the condition of two of the injured in this traffic accident is critical.
The main cause of the accident is narrow and damaged road, as reported.
Meanwhile, the residents of Daikundi in the center of the country witness fatal traffic incidents every year due to road breakdowns.
