The Saudi-led coalition has reported intercepting a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis.
Al Jazeera reported early Sunday, November 8, that the missile had been fired towards Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Region.
According to the report, the Saudi-led coalition said the missile had been intercepted and destroyed by Saudi air defence systems.
Earlier, Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defence had warned of potential missile attack threats in the city of Dammam and the governorates of Al-Ahsa and Abqaiq.
Meanwhile, clashes between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia have intensified over the past few weeks, with both sides launching heavy attacks against each other.
