Seven People Killed in Three Rockets Attacks on Ghazni City

8 Subh, Kabul: Local officials in Ghazni province reported that seven people were killed and seven others injured when three rockets were fired on a residential area in the city. Ahmad Khan Serat, spokesperson for the Ghazni police, told 8 Subh that the incident took place at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8.

According to him, three rockets hit a residential area in the densely populated Nawabad area of ​​Ghazni, killing seven people, including four children and three women, and injuring seven others, including four children and three women.

He added that a police team arrived on the scene and transferred the injured to the Ghazni Provincial Hospital.

Serat said the rockets were fired by the Taliban, but the Taliban have not yet commented on the matter.

These are only the latest of a series of similar attacks on the city of Ghazni, all of which have resulted in civilian casualties.
