Residents of Khost province say a fire in the “Lucknow” market area has caused financial losses for local people.
Local sources told the Hasht-e Subh Daily on Tuesday, June 9, that a fire broke out early this morning in the “Lucknow” market in Khost province.
Sources said that many shops were burned in the fire.
They added that the fire continued to spread but was eventually brought under control by residents.
According to the sources, people have suffered financial losses due to the fire’s scale.
However, the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
Natural incidents such as fires, traffic accidents, floods, earthquakes, and landslides have repeatedly caused heavy losses and claimed many lives due to structural weaknesses and a lack of safety facilities.
