The Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) has claimed that an attack on the Taliban in Badakhshan Province left three Taliban fighters dead and two others wounded.
In a statement issued on Sunday, 30 November, the Front said the attack took place the previous night in the Tapa Television area of Fayzabad, the provincial capital of Badakhshan.
According to the Afghanistan Freedom Front, rocket strikes targeted Taliban positions, and the clashes lasted for more than 15 minutes.
The Front had also reported the killing of two Taliban fighters in Kunduz the previous night.
Earlier, the National Resistance Front in Balkh Province claimed responsibility for an attack on the Taliban district governor of Khulm.
