The Taliban’s Land Grabbing Prevention Commission has seized more than 166 hectares of land in the Alokhil village, located in Kabul’s 16th district.
The Taliban’s Ministry of Justice (MoJ) said on Wednesday, April 29, that this amount of land was recognized as “Emirate-Owned Property” by the “Special Court for Handling Cases of Land Seizure in the Central Emirate Zone” after reviewing documents and records.
The Taliban’s Ministry of Justice (MoJ) said that the land consists of two cadastral plots, and the case had previously been referred by the Land Grabbing Prevention Commission to the group’s special court.
Three days earlier, the Taliban’s Ministry of Justice had also seized 296 hectares of land in the “Omid-e Sabz Township”, located in western Kabul.
The actions of the Taliban’s Land Grabbing Prevention Commission have raised serious concerns among citizens whose places of residence are declared “Emirate-Owned Property” by the commission.
