Taliban’s Crackdown Continues: 20 Female Employees of Afghanistan Gas Company Dismissed in Jawzjan Province

Local sources in Jawzjan province report that Taliban have dismissed 20 female employees of Afghanistan Gas company in this province.

Local sources told Hasht-e Subh on Tuesday, April 5, that the management of Afghanistan Gas had dismissed these female employees as a group yesterday.

These women have 10 to 15 years of work experience in this company.

Earlier, Taliban had also dismissed nearly 80 male and female employees of the management of Hairatan border.

This comes as Taliban have prevented women from going to their jobs since they took over Afghanistan.

In their latest decree, Taliban have also banned girls and women from going to university and working in domestic and foreign institutions.
