The financial and administrative director of the Taliban’s prosecutors’ office for Samangan province was killed by unidentified armed men in Baghlan province.
Local sources confirmed to Hasht-e Subh that Amanullah Haqmal was killed on Monday in Kian Valley, Dushi district, Baghlan Province. According to sources, gunmen fired on the employee of the provincial prosecutors’ office from an official military vehicle.
His relatives said that the armed men identified the car carrying Amanullah Haqmal on the road, and after stopping the car shot him dead among other four passengers. Haqmal was traveling from Kabul to Samangan.
Though the Taliban in Samangan blames armed robbers for the murder of the employee of appeals prosecutor’s office, but his close affiliates reject the Taliban’s claim, saying that this murder is questionable.
Since the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan, mysterious murders have increased in various provinces of Afghanistan.
