The United Nations Office in Geneva has emphasized that building a sustainable world is not possible without creating an equal and inclusive society.
In a post on its official X account on Tuesday, August 25, the office called on people to listen to different voices and not remain silent when individuals and groups are excluded.
The United Nations stressed that everyone has a role to play in building a fairer future, and that promoting inclusion and combating discrimination are essential steps toward achieving an equal society.
The office also added that a sustainable future can be achieved when no individual or group is left behind in the process of development and progress.
Equality and social inclusion are considered fundamental principles for achieving sustainable development.
