Local sources in Kunduz province say that unidentified individuals have killed a man in the province.
The sources reported on Wednesday, January 7, that the incident occurred the previous night in the village of Qarluq, in the Dasht-e Archi district.
According to the sources, the victim was identified as Namaz Bai.
Local sources say the motive behind the killing remains unclear.
This comes despite Taliban claims of having ensured security, as reports of mysterious killings and similar incidents of insecurity have emerged in several provinces in recent months.
