Mohammad Mokhber, an adviser and deputy to Iran’s Supreme Leader, has warned that the country’s infrastructure is a red line for Tehran, in response to reports of a possible U.S. attack on Iranian infrastructure.
Tasnim News Agency reported on Saturday night, August 1, that the Iranian official issued a warning against any attack on the country’s infrastructure.
According to the report, Mokhber said: “If Iran’s infrastructure is attacked, there will be no command center left for the enemy and no market left for plunder.”
The remarks come after U.S. media reported earlier that President Donald Trump was seriously considering a plan to target Iran’s energy infrastructure.
