At least 781 people have been killed, and another 2,502 are missing following devastating floods in the border areas of Nepal and China.
Al Jazeera reported on Sunday, August 30, that search and rescue operations are continuing for the fifth consecutive day.
Meanwhile, the floods have caused extensive damage, and a large number of people in the affected areas remain missing.
According to the report, rescue teams are continuing their efforts to locate the missing people and assist those affected in the flood-hit areas.
Fox News reported the previous day that around 100 people may be trapped inside a tunnel of a hydropower plant that has been filled with mud and debris.
