Taliban members were involved in the kidnapping of a businessman in Kabul.
The evidence obtained from the four dead kidnappers shows that they were actually Taliban fighters.
The gunfighting on Tuesday evening, January 3, ended up with four kidnappers being killed. Evidence and details released on social media indicate that Taliban fighters were involved in the kidnapping.
Evidence shows that the name of one of the dead kidnappers is Abdul Majeed, a brother of the Taliban’s district governor in Mirbacha Kot, Kabul, and an employee of the General Directorate of Combating Serious Crimes of the Taliban’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Mawlawi Najibullah Hanifi, director of planning and operation of Mirbacha Kot district, Abdul Basit Atal, a soldier of the Taliban’s Border Protection Battalion and Ehsan Ahmad, an employee of the Department of Combating Administrative Corruption of the Taliban’s Ministry of Interior, are among the other members of this group who were killed during the kidnapping by the Taliban’s intelligence forces.
This is despite the fact that the Taliban have widely spread the news of a businessman being released from the clutches of kidnappers.
