The Taliban also prevent female students and teachers from entering schools in Kabul.
Sources among female school teachers in Kabul said on Wednesday that early in the morning when they were going to school, the management of the schools sent them a message to refrain from going to work.
In these messages, school principals have stated that the reason for preventing them from going to their duties is that the school doors were closed by the Taliban.
Meanwhile, some parents of female students have confirmed that their children are not allowed to enter schools in Kabul.
According to them, female students were asked to go to the schools today (Wednesday, December 21th) to get their annual exam results, but the armed Taliban fighters at the school doors, unlike usual, prevented them from entering the school compounds.
The Taliban has not yet announced the reason for the military movements in the school compounds.
The Taliban previously banned girls above the 6th grade from school, and now, apparently, after issuing a decree banning girls from going to university, they have also closed school doors below the 6th grade for girls.
