According to local sources in Paktika, a money changer has been abducted by a Taliban fighter in this province.
Sources state that the incident occurred on Wednesday, April 12, in the market of Argun district of Paktika province.
According to the sources, the Taliban fighter forcibly tied up the hands of the money changer and drove him away on a motorcycle.
It is said that the money changer, after freeing his hands inside the motorcycle, got into a fight with the Taliban fighter which resulted in a traffic accident.
Following the incident, the arrival of the Taliban at the scene confirmed that the abductor was one of their fighters.
The Taliban have not commented on the matter yet.
The involvement of Taliban fighters in kidnapping incidents is not unprecedented. A few days ago, three Taliban fighters were killed during the abduction of a merchant in the 4th district of Kabul city.
